External indexing

Everything an indexer or market-data platform needs to read KortanaSwap from the chain.

KortanaSwap can be indexed from the public RPC alone. The full specification — addresses, deployment blocks, every event signature and topic hash, the differences from Uniswap V2, and the adapter's request and response formats — is published as a single file: https://dex.kortanaswap.org/docs/external-indexing.md

  • Swap and Sync are identical to Uniswap V2 and decode unchanged.
  • Pools are announced by PoolCreated, not PairCreated, so fork templates find no pools. Index PoolCreated from the factory.
  • Mint and Burn each carry an extra liquidity field, so their topic hashes differ from Uniswap V2's.
  • The router appears as the sender on every routed trade. The trader is the transaction's from address.

An adapter over the same events is served at https://dex.kortanaswap.org/api/adapter, with latest-block, asset, pair and events endpoints. Its OpenAPI definition is at https://dex.kortanaswap.org/api/openapi.json, and the token list at https://dex.kortanaswap.org/tokenlist.json.

The pool gives a price for DNR in KUSX. It does not give a price in US dollars: KUSX targets a dollar but has no outside market, so any dollar figure derived from it is an assumption, not a measurement. Our own interface quotes its values in KUSX, not dollars, for that reason.
